Lubgard developed a wide range of well-engineered lubricant products that are compatible for Automotive, Fleet, Industrial, Marine, Specialty Fulids, Metal working Fluids and Greases.

Lubgard Industrial Gear Oil (IGO) Star

LUBGARD Industrial Gear Oil (IGO) Star is an Industrial Gear Oil that is formulated with high performance additives that enhance oxidation stability, improve foam control, maintains superior stability in the presence of water, and provide protection against rust, corrosion, and wear. This superior Industrial Gear Oil is manufactured from selected, highly refined based oil and blended with field proven additives. This combination creates a product with longer oil life over conventional mineral oils, excellent chemical and thermal stability over a wide range of temperature.

LUBGARD Industrial Gear Oil (IGO) Star has a naturally high viscosity index (VI) compared to other conventional gear oils, providing lower viscosity at lower temperatures and higher viscosity at higher temperatures. This high VI allows the oil to flow at cold temperatures so equipment will start. It also means viscosity will be maintained at high temperatures to provide wear protection. The most advanced additive allows the LUBGARD Industrial Gear Oil (IGO) Star to be able to whistand super high load between the teeth of those industrial gear sets. It has excellent thermal stability and corrosion resistance as well. It is blended with antifoam to supress excess forming.

Applications/ Benefits

  • Naturally High Viscosity Index (VI), improving low temp operation and higher viscosity at higher operation temperature. Excellent temperature oxidation, extended lubricant life.
  • Superior Anti-Wear properties, low traction coefficient, excellent gear & bearing lubricating and E.P. properties
  • Outstanding anti-rust, and corrosion properties. Improve foam controls, superior capability in presence of water.
